Over the last week, the STEP students and staff have made their way to our Community Partners to express their gratitude for another year of support and present them with a plaque.
So far, the team has visited Dick’s Wings & Grill San Pablo, Daily’s and Daily’s Dash, Hope’s Closet -Thrift Store, and the The Jacksonville Humane Society. Each year these Community Partners pledge to support our young adults by giving them a safe and positive environment to learn skills that could become future employment opportunities!
On behalf of the Supportive Transition Enrichment Program (S.T.E.P) students and staff at Jacksonville School for Autism, we would like to thank you for providing our students with a volunteer program to further their skills to be successful members in our community.
More visits to our Community Partners in the coming weeks…stay tuned! #jsakids #lifeskills #1in36 #autisminaction
