The Annual PJ and Gift Exchange Day was held on Wednesday December 19. The students and staff wore their favorite holiday pajamas which made for a festive and cozy day around school. The students exchanged gifts with one another, played Christmas games and made Holiday crafts. The exchanging of gifts was not only a fun activity but also a learning experience. The teachers and therapists guided the students in being “gift givers” and “gift receivers” by teaching them the proper etiquette to giving and receiving gifts. The day was full of joy and a good time was had by all!
The Christmas program this year was a festive show put on by our JSA students. They traveled back in time to 1905 and told the story of A Christmas Carol. Not only did our talented students take the stage to recreate the Christmas ghost story, they also delighted the parents and guests with their festive caroling. We had a very special surprise guest grace us with his presence. Can you guess who it was? That’s right…Santa himself came to JSA! The students enjoyed sitting on his lap, telling him their Christmas wishes and receiving a gift. Thank you, Santa for brightening the day for the students, they had a jolly good time!
